Script for Network configuration (SP1)
I have a question concerning the network configuration. I have a laptop which I use in two different networks (office and home). Naturally I need two configurations (DNS-Server, WINS addresses and so on). Is there any easy solution, e.g. via script, to reconfigure the laptop? I would think about a script, which sets all the parameters correctly, maybe automatically when loggin in, dependant on the ip-address the lapto receives.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Many greetings, Porley

Re: Script for Network configuration (SP1)
I was tempted to move your post, but based on what I'm about to say, I'm not sure if I should move it to the Networking board or Software... <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
I no longer have a laptop - ah, so long in retirement! - but when I did I paid $14 for a copy of NetSwitcher and it worked like a charm.
