    Change language (Word 2000)

How do we change the default language from English US to English UK.
We have tried double clicking on the English US on the Word task bar, selecting the English UK, then selecting default etc. as well as going via the Control Panel. Nothing seems to work.
    Any suggestions?

    Regards

Set the keyboard input language to English UK.

    In Windows XP:
    - Start | Control Panel
    - Date. Time, Language and Regional Options (if you have Category view on)
    - Regional and Language Options
    - Languages tab
    - Details button
    - Select English (United Kingdom) as default input language.
    - If that is not available yet, click Add to add it to the list.

In earlier versions of Windows, these settings are in the Keyboard control panel.
