built a huge table in access now I need to make it an ascii tab delimited txt file. I made a report but I have a blank line in between each row that I do not need.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

You can export a table or query directly to a text file - select the table or query in the database window (or open it), then select File | Export...
Select Text Files (*.txt, *.csv, *.tab, *.asc) in the Save As dropdown list, specify a name with one of those four extensions, and click Export.
Follow the steps of the wizard.

If you want to export a report to a text file, make sure that the height of the sections, in particular of the detail section, is a multiple of 1/6 inch.
