    Bookmarks/Favorites (WIN XP PRO)

My "main" system has crashed - seems to be a motherboard issue. I can't find my backup/export of my FAVORITES. I can access the hard drive (as a slave in a different system) but need to know the "name" of the file for the Favorites. I did a search for BOOKMARKS.HTM without success. What is the name of the "favorites" file and where is it stored. Thanks.

If you created an export of your favorites using File | Import and Export... in Internet Explorer, you have been prompted to specify a name and location for the export file. The default is Cocuments and Settings<username>My Documentsbookmark.htm (note: bookmark.htm, not bookmarks.htm), but you may have changed this in the dialog.

Favorites itself is not a file, but a folder containing shortcuts. Under Windows XP, this folder is Cocuments and Settings<username>Favorites. Each favorite is a shortcut within this folder.

Hi Hans, I found my Favorites folder and am copying it as I type this. Thanks for your help.
