    Remove windows toolbar (2000)

    Hi,
I have a custom toolbar on a word document. Is there any way to remove the rest of the toolbars by default upon opening the document regardless of whether the user has more functions displayed than I want them to?

It can be done, but it is a bit tricky - you'd have to be very careful to restore the toolbars to their original state, even if things go wrong.

Are you sure this is a good idea? If I were one of your users, I would feel irritated if you took away all toolbars except for a custom one.

I agree with you on this one, I think I would be peeved if an application removed all of my toolbars. I just thought it would make the document look tidier if only my toolbar was on there.
