W97 - Spell check and Innetnational Internet names

This is just a niggle, but a fairly constant and widespread one in our company.

I've noticed that the spell checker, at least in Word97 ignores any URL or email addresses which end in the US standard, ".com", ".net", etc.

I am wondering if it is possible to make it ignore the International addresses in the same way, i.e. ".au". ".uk", et al. Any thoughts?

    Hi Granville,

Would setting the Language of the Hyperlink style to No Proofing work for you?

Hi BAM, (Oops! corrected the wrong word, my appologies!) <img src=/S/clown.gif border=0 alt=clown width=15 height=15>

    Thanks for the quick response!

That goes close, and the failure may just be something I've missed.

I went into Format - Style - Hyperlink - Modify - Format - Language and selected (no proofing) - [ok] - checked Add To Template - [apply].

This work fine if I change the style to hyperlink, but I was hoping to have the spell checker just ignore these addresses, regardless of the style, in the same way it will ignore the .coms, etc.
