    Printing single labels (2000)

I'm using some code from Access 2000 Developers Handbook that allows the user to select which label on a sheet gets printed. The code does the necessary and pops the report as a preview with the details in the required place. Hitting the print button from there puts the data back to top left. I think I understand why this is happening but how do I get around it. I can, of course, alter the code so the output goes straight to the printer but what I'd like is to be able to preview then print the data in the correct place.

    TIA

Cany ou post the code you are using? Not everyone has the Developers Handbook at his side.

Moved long code that caused horizontal scrolling to attachment - HansV

Sorry about that Hans. Thought it may be a general principle kind of thing.

Here's the code for the report

    Hope this helps

That's far too much code to wade through. Try the less sophisticated, but much simpler version in HOW TO: Skip Used Mailing Labels and Print Duplicates in Access 2000.

Not tried it yet but that code is a bit easier on eye! Many thanks, Hans

    Re: Printing single labels (2000)

Have now tried it and am very pleased. It does what I want though I have modified it to use a form to select the label to begin printing from (can't expect my users to be able to count <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15> )

    Many thanks

Hey this is really cool and exactly what I need to complete my rolodex database! Would you be kind enough to post your modified version where you select the starting label from a form?

    Thank you,

    Here ya go.

The label selecting form is 'hard-wired' for 21 labels per sheet and the report for Avery 7160 labels but this is easy to change
