    Printing (Word 2002)

    Need to print large document. Don't want pictures or objects to print. Is there a way to prevent them from printing out, without deleteing them?

    Select Tools>Options...
    On the Print tab make sure "Drawing objects" in the "Include with document" section is not selected.

    Tony's answer covers objects in the drawing layer. If you have inserted the pictures directly into the document, "inline" with the text, the checkbox for the drawing layer doesn't have any effect. If the pictures are actually linked or embedded using field codes (e.g., press Alt+F9 and you see {
