    Missing query records (A2K SP3)

Attached is a stripped down database. TblRental contains 71 records. I have a qryRentCalc0 that has no selection criteria but only returns 64 records. The OrderID number of missing records are:
    2804
    2820
    2821
    2830
    2867
    2875
    2877

I can not determine why these 7 records are not included in the record set produced by qryRentCalc0.

In attempting to find a solution, I deleted qryMarketingSorted from qryRentCalc0 and renamed qryRentCalc, then 69 out of the 71 records are returned. The two records not returned are 2875 and 2877.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Missing query records (A2K SP3)

You're missing customers 422 and 340 from your customer table.

    Hope this helps.

Re: Missing query records (A2K SP3)

The problem with 2875 and 2877 is that their CustomerID's (422 and 320, respectively) don't exist in tblCustomers.

And the problem with qryRentCalc0 is that CustomerID's 367, 386, and 411 all have MarketingID's of 0, which isn't in tblMarketing.

Whenever you have missing data from a query, and the query has equal joins, look for data that doesn't match between the underlying tables. You can use the query wizard to create queries that look for unmatched data if you're not comfortable doing it manually.

    Regards,

    Brent
