Open PPT slide show from button in Word (Word2000)

    The next challenge:
A PowerPoint template was created for the users : ResearchDark.pot
What macro do I write to attach to the command button that will allow PowerPoint to open the template in a .ppt format?
It would probably be advisable to also check first to see if PPT is already open?
VBA recording does not help me and trying to modify the other help lines sent to me don't seem to work <sigh>
    Regards

You can use Application.FollowHyperlink or the Windows API function ShellExecute. See <post#=232065>post 232065</post#>.
