Sorting records in date order (2000)

    Hi,

I am trying to sort some records in date order with latest date first.
I have done a query to do this but am unsure as to where l should place it in the subform.
If you see the attachment it will give an idea as to what l am trying to do.

    Regards
    Justin

The subform has a Record Source. This can be the name of a table, the name of a query or an SQL string.
If it is a table, create a query based on the table, and set the Sort for the date field to Descending. Save this query and use it as Record Source for the subform.
If it is a query, open the query in design view, and set the Sort for the date field to Descending.
If it is an SQL string (SELECT ... FROM ...), click the builder button to the right of it (the button with three dots ...), and set the Sort for the date field to Descending.
