Outlook Journal Items (Outlook 2002 SP3)

In the Outlook Options > Journal Options > the 'Automatically Records these items' is blank. How can I get these back?

The attached screenshot shows the empty configuration table

Of course I have no idea how they disappeared in the first place.

Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

A few registry setting have gone missing on your installation. You can try Help | Detect and Repair... to see if this will restore them. You will need to have the Office XP CD-ROM available.

It is also possible to add the missing items to the registry; I can post a file to do so, but I would need to know which Windows version you are using.

Hans
Thanks for the response.

I have tried the Detect and Repair but with no luck.

If you could post the file re the registry that would be good - or simply tell me what additions to make to the registry itself.

I am running Windows XP Pro version 5.1.2600

Right click the word Attachment to the left of this reply.
Select Save Target As...
Browse to a suitable location, enter Journal.reg as file name, and select 'All files' in the 'Save as type' dropdown list. Then click 'Save'.
The .reg extension is important, it tells Windows that it contains registry entries.
Next, locate the downloaded file in Windows Explorer.
If you want to inspect the .reg file before installing it, right-click it and select Edit.
To install the registry entries, double click the .reg file.
