    message boxes (2003)

Can someone please advise how can I put a message box on the screen while a program is running, advising the user of progress to date. The box needs no buttons and no user input is required. The box needs to be destroyed when the program finishes.

A msgbox would be ideal if I could have created one that needed no user interaction. However I cannot find a way to code this.

Another option is to use the Statusbar to put in the progress. for example:

    <pre>Application.statusbar = "Working " & x & "% Done"</pre>

Where x is a variable containing the progress
You can add it in loops to give a progress indicator. when done add the line:

    <pre>Application.statusbar = false</pre>
