    Snap to Grid default=ON

Is there a way to default PP2000 (or 97) the "Snap to Grid" OFF instead of ON? I almost never use it. Could you write a VB script to do it at boot?

<img src=/S/hmmn.gif border=0 alt=hmmn width=15 height=15>you mean it doesn't remember the last choice you made? I've never noticed, though if you'd asked me I would have said that PPT WOULD remember. But I move around from computer to computer daily/hourly so I've never actually had to prove that theory.
However, after checking it looks like the snap to setting is held in the file. So if you follow this link<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=ppt&Number=23948&page=&view =&sb=&vc=1>http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.p...&view=&sb=&vc=1</A>and change the snap setting in the Blank presentation, that should change your default.
