    File extensions, associations and applications (Win2000 and Win XP)

    Star <post#=387181>post 387181</post#> by <!profile=SteveTetch>SteveTetch<!/profile> in the Windows 2000 forum suggests using the ASSOC and FTYPE commands to get a list of file types and associations.

    Since this works on Windows XP and Windows NT4 as well as Windows 2000 I have added this post here to help other's who might be searching for this information.
