    Turning Page Header on and off (A2K)

    For a multi-page report, I would like to turn the page header on and off -- off for Page 1, on for subsequent pages. I have tried and tried to do this by setting me.pageheader0.visible to true or false (as needed), but it seems to have no effect at all. If PageHeader0 is set to visible from the beginning, it always displays; if it is not set to visible from the beginning, it never displays.

    My code looks like this:

    Private Sub Report_Page()
    If Me.Page = 1 Then
    Me.PageHeader0.Visible = False
    Else
    Me.PageHeader0.Visible = True
    End If
    End Sub

    What can I do to make this work the way I want?

    - Turn on the report header/footer if you don't have one. They can have zero height if you wish.
    - Set the Page Header property of the report to 'Not with report header'.

    Hans,

    You got all the answers! Thanks again. In this case, I'm using the report header for page 1, and the page header for subsequent pages ... we have a data item, for print on the first page one, that must be able to grow -- and only the report header will grow, not the page header. Your solution did the trick, and much more simply than all the alternatives I considered.
