Includetext not doing what I need

    Hi
I am trying to create a document that includes the contents of 12 other documents and when printed all 12 also print as a single file. I DO NOT want the text from the 12 in the main docoment just the document names (the contents are simular and wuold take ages to check). I considered the Master Document option but seeing the discussions here I avoided it. The option of include as an icon would be perfect but I cannot then print. What other options do I have?
    Thanks for any help.

When you use INCLUDETEXT, only the code truly exists in the "master" document. Visually, on screen it will appear as if it's there. If you don't like looking at it, position your cursor over the included text and press Shift+F9. That will toggle the code so that you see the code and not the code result (read as the included text).

    I hope this helps.
