    Extend my desktop (XP VB6)

Hi, does anyone know of a way (i imagine through a windows API) setting the 'Extend my desktop on to this monitor' to on or off through VB or VBA?

It is for a powerpoint application I developed, which uses dual monitors. I need it to set the windows config to dual monitors before it run, then set it back to single monitor after.

I know that this is easily done through the display properties, but it would make things easier if this could be done,
    Thanks,

    pmatz

I don't have experience with this, and can't find much about it. Check out MSKB article SAMPLE: MULTIMON.EXE Uses Multiple Monitors in Visual Basic. About your specific problem, I found this newsgroup thread but it doesn't contain a definitive answer.
