    customize calendar (OL2000)

Ideally, my calendar would show my events for specific dates, as Outlook does now, and also show me a separate list with items that are not date-specific (my 'events' are articles I want to print on a specific dates, the other items are articles that are not tied to a specific date; that list would be a kind of inventory). Is there any way to make this happen? Suggestions much appreciated, Marc

You might want to put in articles in as TASKS, not appointments/events. In the Calendar view, you can choose to see the task list with your calendar (VIEW, TASKPAD), and in the OUTLOOK TODAY view, it can also show up. You'll have to specify that tasks with no particular due date show up in the Outlook Today view; I think they show up automatically when in the Calendar view.
You may choose to drag a specific-date task onto the Calendar, to make an appointment out of the task, but check carefully -- Outlook has a tendency to put "converted" tasks onto the current date
