    Unfinished installation (XP)

I have decided toe install again Windows XP (reinstall) to fix a problem with my computer. During the installation, something went wrong and I have to stop it (it seems that one file was missing). I restart my computer and the system asks me if I want to start Windows normally or if I want to restart the setup program. Finally I have fix the initial problem and I don't need to install againWindows.
Now, I can I delete this screen prompting for a standard start of Windows or to start again the setup program.
    Thanks for your help,

    Marcel

If you are able to start Windows normally, you don't need to run Setup.

To get rid of this prompt, open System Properties (press Windows and Pause/Break keys, or right-click My COmputer and choose Properties, or run it from Control Panel); on System Properties dialog click Advanced tab and Settings button under "Startup and Recovery". On the next window you can reduce time to display startup options even to 0 or edit boot.ini file clicking Edit button.

    Further to Kaplinb's comments -

I would recommend editing the BOOT.INI file and removing the option for resuming setup, if you don't need it. You may also have two directories on the root of your boot partition (named $WIN_NT$.~BT and $WIN_NT$.~LS) that contain setup's temporary files that can be deleted to save space.
