    Mail Merge (Excel 2000)

When doing mail merge and we have some addresses that have a physical address and a P.O. box we are wanting to supress the 2nd address line if it is blank. Is there a way to do this? I have seen it in labels and I know how to do it in Crystal reports but haven.t found the option in Excel.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Glenn

Are you doing the mail merge in Word with an Excel worksheet as data file? If so, the 3rd step in the mail merge wizard in Word lets you specify merge options. Suppressing blank lines is one of them; it is on by default.
