Completed Tasks (Outlook 2002 SP-2)

I would like to create a folder separate from the "Tasks" folder so that I could move completed tasks from the main "Tasks" folder. I can't figure out how this can be achieved. Looks like the only way to do this is to mail the completed task to myself, then delete it from "Tasks" and "Sent Mail". There's got to be something easier than that. Please agree with me and tell me how.

Is there a reason you cannot create a New Folder under File|New|Folder? Make it a Folder containing Task Items. Move your Completed Tasks into that Folder? HTH

Already been tried. When I do, I get the Task addressed as a message.

The new 'Completed Tasks' Folder must be created as default type Task Items. Then using either File | Move to Folder, or just drag-&-drop to the Completed Tasks Folder, will keep the item as a Task Item.

Are you sure that you have chosen this option on setting up the Folder? It works on my machine.

Duh! Guess I just missed that part (with the drop down arrow and the selection list including "Tasks").
