    Word Closing Completely (Office Pro 2003)

    Some of the users in my office are having problems with Word closing when they click on the lower "X" at the upper right of the screen. Some times, when Outlook is closed, it closes Word, as well. In one instance, Word closed all by itself while the user was reading an email in Outlook. I know that Word 2000 was the first change were one must have at least one instance of Word open all of the time, whether it be a document, a blank document, or no document. Has anyone else had this problem of Word closing?

    I never use Word as my mail editor, but it seems logical that if Outlook launched Word, and Outlook is finished with Word, and the user isn't using Word for anything else, Outlook should clean up after itself and close Word. No?
