    Reserve Error (Access 2000)

It seems at least once a day I get the following message "reserved error (-1104); there is no message for this error." My database is frontend access and backend Oracle. I get the message even though the database is not on the network. It is stored on my C drive. It seems that it occurs if I am in the database for a long time and I am setting on a form or query without doing anything. I can exit the database (without saving changes which gives me for work) and come back in and it is fine.

    Any ideas. Thanks

I guess this is a time-out of the connection with Oracle. Does the data source for Oracle have a setting for this?

in thinking about that, I believe you are correct. It does not happen with databases that use local Access tables. I will check on increasing the timeout for Oracle. Thanks again.
