    Colors` (MSO2K Sr1-a)

Where do the colors for the Outlook Bar come from and/or get changed? I'm getting some type of grayish-green that is pretty "yucky"...

    Hi Chuck

Colours for the Outlook bar come from the global Windows colour scheme. For details see: OL2000: How to Change Colors of Outlook Bar, Folders, and Items

    Tony:

I grok that the Outlook bar is (most probably) built into the "Appearance" settings...

I just wish I could figger which specific setting affects it, as it doesn't seem to match anything...

For Outlook 2002 (aka XP), the background of the Outlook Bar is the same color as "3D Objects" in the Appearance settings, i.e. the color of command buttons etc.

    Hans:

That didn't match up on mine... I think it just got screwed up somewhere, so I just went back to a "standard" color set, reset my changes, and then the background was OK...

Dunno how it got fouled up, but maybe it's just a one-time problem...

    Thanks
