Referencing query fields in a report text box (2000)

When I select, say, Jan 3, 2004 on the calendar on the GioRep form of the attached mdb and press the Comando130 button on the same form, an input box pops up asking for the value of the G1DEZ parameter. I've noticed that if I delete the REND text box from the RDezzo report the input box doesn't come up. The control source of the REND text box is
    =Rendi([Energia],[PORT1],[Pmedia],G1DEZ.salto)
I don't see what could be wrong with that, do you?

Re: Referencing query fields in a report text box (2000)

I think the problem was how the text boxes were referencing the query fields and there were some bracketing issues as well. I made some changes to the original report and saved the old report with the suffix 'Old'. My Italian is a little rusty so I can't be sure it is running perfectly but the parameter prompts disappeared and the report opens just fine. I attached a zip file for your review.
    Hope that helps.

    That's extremely cool Andrew!
In desperation I had solved it by importing hidden text boxes for G1Dez.salto and PortDez23.salto(see attachment) but your solution is much better so I'll keep yours!
