database won't reconize Date() function (2000)

Hello, I have a database that has been a works in progress for some time now..... I use Date() a lot but for some reason, after the IT department changed out my computer, access won't recognize "Date()".... Access comes back with an error message that says "Undefined Date function in expression" Any suggestions???

This is almost always a references problem.
    - Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11)
    - Select Tools | References...
    - If you see a reference starting with MISSING, click on it, and note the name, as well as the path in the lower part of the window.
    - Clear the check box for the missing reference.
    - Repeat for other missing references, if present.
    - Click OK.
    - Switch back to Access and test if the database works OK now.
    - If not, select Tools | References... in the Visual Basic Editor again.
    - Try to locate the equivalents of the references that were missing.
    - Tick the corresponding check box(es).
    - Click OK.

    THank You Hans,
I thought that it might be a reference problem but I had no idea what I was looking for! Thank you so much!
