text truncated at bottom when rotated (2003 Professional ver.11.326)

When I draw a box and type in text it prints fine. If I rotate that box 90 degrees or flip it 90 degrees, the text is truncated at the bottom of the line by a "hair's" width. Is this a bug in Visio 2003? Does anyone have a workaround?

    TIA,
    gg

I haven't seen this particular behaviour, does it print this way or just render on-screen?

Actually, it looks fine on the screen but prints funny in VISIO

The SP1 to VISIO 2003 came out on 07-27-04 and we installed it the next day. It fixed it kinda... what I determined was the "nibbled" bottom was point size dependent... it happened with text that was 10 pt., 12 pt, 14 pt., 15 pt. The problem disappeared with 16 point text. STRANGE... makes no sense to me.

So my workaround was to use 16 pt. rotated text, not 14 point. We are printing on a variety of HP printers , but mainly on HPJ4550DN.

How do yo make Microsoft aware of quirks like this?

Good question... because even lawsuits don't seem to sway them a whole lot. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15> The best I can suggest is to scour Microsoft's website and see if you can find an email address or link to the Visio team...and even then, there's no guarantee that they will listen.
