Lock Column Width
I'm running Access 2000. I have a "form view" main form containing a subform in "datasheet view". I'd like to be able to prevent users from changing the column width in the subform or at least not preserve changes made.
I've been unable to find any obvious documentation on this. If I need to do it through VBA that's O.K., I just thought there should be a simpler way, like a property setting or something.
One of the things that confuses me is when does Access decide to save changes to the column width. If I make changes by dragging the column width, sometimes it will show the changes when reopened and sometimes not.
What am I missing? <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>
Any help is always appreciated.
