    Install on demand (6)

Page 61 of the 17 August 2004 issue of PC Magazine recommends unchecking both Enable Install on Demand Items in the Advanced options.

On my system, the settings were:

Enable Install on Demand (Internet Explorer) unchecked
Enable Install on Demand (Other) checked

Seems odd that the latter would be checked.

    I've now unchecked that option.
    What are the implications?
Why would it have checked in hte first place? I didn't do that, at least not while I was awake.
