experience of using Thunderbird (latest version)

Does anyone have any experience of using Thunderbird?

If so can they tell me its advantages over OE and how well its spam filter works.
As l have been informed it is good.

I would also like to know if it it easy to import addresses and address books from OE.

Any feedback / advice would be appreciated.

    Justin.

Re: experience of using Thunderbird (latest versio

I use Thunderbird at home and it works quite good. I was using Outlook 2000 and it seems to be a very stable e-mail client. There is an adaptive control setting that works on its own to ferret out the junk and I've noticed a marked reduction in spam although I have not effected and user-level modification on this setting--it just works on its own.
