    server DDE

    ... during the close procedure of my WIN2K professional i have this messagge" Error during to close SERVER DDE"????

    Have you examined the Event logs in Event Viewer for any clues as to what is hanging?

    The Event Viewer can be found under Adminstrative Tools in the Control Panel.

    Sorry - I have absolutely no idea. I thought from your previous post you couldn't find the Event Viewer....

    ok! tks, but for this problem is possible because i don not use this command to clear variable in my code of vba for Excel?

    set nameofvariable =nothing

    after the last line of macro code is finished?

    Ummmm, what's the problem? Is it with Windows 2000 shutting down improperly, or is it a problem with Excel?

    If it's Excel...that forum is here. If it is a problem with Windows 2000 shutdown, then you will need to post more information here.
