    Report Feild Restriction (2k)

I want to output reports that will be around 100-200 pages long. These reports have 13 fields that need to be on one regular sized piece of paper. However one of the fields in particular can be quite long (a remarks field). Is there a way to restrict the horizontal size of a text field on a report, but allow it to grow vertically as needed up to the maximum of 255 characters to show the remarks? The text fields can be anywhere from 1 line to about 8 lines as they appear now from excel and I would expect to need the same w/ the reports in access.

Set the Can Grow property to Yes for each text box you want to be able to grow vertically, and do the same for the section that contains them (presumably the Detail section.) This way, the text boxes need only to be high enough for one line of text, they will expand automatically if necessary.

Note: make sure that there is no vertical overlap of controls, this disables the functioning of Can Grow.
