    Non-Display of Pages (Win2000/SP4)

Recently when attempting to open a URL I get a banner at the top of the page called SN NAVIGATION HELPER which indicates the requested page cannot be displayed and suggests a "related" site as an alternative. Some sort of Spyware/Virus? I've run spyware removal and anti-virus programs and they don't seem to find anything...it seems as if some sites are not affected at all but others are difficult to open with this banner....any ideas would be appreciated..

Check it is not listed in your Add/Remove Programs, and have a look at this thread at hardwareanalysis.com

Thanks for the quick response...didn't realize this hijacker was such a problem...apparently deposited by WareZ P2P (which I subsequently deleted...not easily done). Used Add/Remove Platinum to remove the hijacker (control panel Add/Remove didn't seem to work although the hijack program is not listed....hopefully I will not see it again!!!). Thanks again!!
