    Printer Drivers Loading (XP SP-1)

I have an HP PSC 1200 printer/scanner attached to my home network...

There are three users that log on/off to the pc to which the printer is connected. There are two drivers (?) that are loaded from the HKCU section at log on... except that:

Once they are loaded, then if the next user just "switches over", instead of logging on/off, the (drivers - hpotdd01.exe and hpohmr08.exe) try to load again, causing error(s).

How can I set up an "If / then" situation, so that if the drives ARE loaded, they will NOT re-load, but if they are NOT loaded, they will?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Chuck,

Have you checked the HP site to see if you have the most current XP drivers? Make sure you check the correct model as all are not for the US.
