    Doubt that book emphasizes patent searching.

    A book on "provisional patents" would not be oriented towards patent searching.
    Amazon did not have a TOC or index available, at least I did not find one.

    You might have better luck calling the reference desk at your local public library. They can often answer questions like yours in a heartbeat.
