    Controlling Chart Size (2002)

    How do I control the size and positioning of the Plot Area and related materials inside the Chart Area?

    For example, I have two very similar vertical bar charts. In one, the title is well above the Plot Area. In the other, it is just a small distance above the plot area. I'd like to have them both the same distance above the plot area. When I try to adjust the sizes of various chart areas, strange things happen with font size, position, etc.

    Does it work better if the autoscale is off?
    Right click - format chart area
    Font (tab) uncheck autoscale
    <ok>

    Absolutely! I have been annoyed by this for YEARS. Now I know the cure. Thanks!

    The other stuff I can fix by selecting and dragging. When I made the post, I was so frustrated that I forgot that obvious fact.
