    msinet license (a2k3)

I'm working with a database that uses the Microsoft Internet Transfer Control 6.0 on one of its forms. I've downloaded the inf and ocx files and was able to register the ocx. However, I'm getting the message: You don't have the license to use this ActiveX control.

I have no such problem with the form on another computer in Access 2k2. Anyone have any ideas what's likely to be the problem?

It might be a problem with the new "sandbox" security mode. See here for more info.

There is an alternative that avoids the use of the ActiveX control and uses Windows API calls instead: Internet Data Transfer Library on the Access Web.

Thanks for the lead. We decided to use the API instead.
