    override hotkey assignment?

I seem (even after many years) unable to train myself out of pressing ctrl-f whenever I want to look for some text in an Outlook message. Of course, in Outlook, this invokes forwarding, rather than "find". Is there any way to override this behavior so that ctrl-f will invoke "find" in Outlook as it does just about everywhere else?

Did you ever get an answer to this? You can't be the only one who hates this. Even the Microsoft keyboard shows Ctrl-F for Find.

No, and I must confess that the ctrl-f snake still bites me every so often even after all this time. If you ever chance to find a solution, I'd be very grateful to hear about it.

this question gets asked often. the answer is no, you can't and AFAIK, even programs that reassign hotkeys won't work in Outlook.

shift-control-f is the find hotkey for outlook, BTW.
