Had to truncate that subject line a bit to get it to fit. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> This has been a long-standing annoyance of mine and I'm finally whining about it. I have noticed that in multi-page threads, those that exceed 20 posts, the notification emails that arrive do not direct the browser to the post they contain. This only affects those of us who have our preferences set for <img src=/S/flatcat.gif border=0 alt=flatcat width=61 height=21> mode. For example:


would be the URL that appears in the email - which will land you on the first page of posts. But the URL is incorrectly formatted if the post you want to view is on page two, as in the example above. It should read:


It appears that the email notifications are missing the fpart=x portion of the URL, which would direct the recipient to the correct place in the thread. Unfortunately I don't have an example email handy to look at.
