    Prevent 2 records (Access 2000)

I have a subform linked to a main form by a one to one relationship. How can I prevent the user attempting to create 2 records in the subform?

    TIA

Why do you have a one-to-one relationship? If you need it because you have more than 255 fields, it might be a good idea to review your data design. If the tables have less than 255 fields combined, consider merging them into one table, or else create a query that combines them, and use that as record source for a main form only.

Thanks, it's easy to lose sight of the obvious sometimes!
