    Create Hyperlinks (Access 2000)

    I have a hyperlink field in a table. I want to create the hyperlink from a reference number. The following code creates what looks like a hyperlink in hte database, but when I clink on it nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

    TxtLetter = "C:Letters" & TxtCRN & ".tif"

    where TxtLetter is a text box with the contorl source as the hyper link field and TctCRN is the client reference number

    To insert a hyperlink you have to surround the string by #

    <pre>TxtLetter = "#C:Letters" & TxtCRN & ".tif#"</pre>
