    ODBC (A2000)

I have a 16bit ODBC Driver which I'm trying to set up with Access 2000 / xp

It doesn't seem to show up in the driver list and can't set up a new DNS with it.

Do I need to upgrade to 32bit, or will Access 97 recognise it ?

The 16-bit ODBC driver was for Access 1 and/or 2. For all recent versions of Access (starting with Access 95), you need a 32-bit ODBC driver.

The ODBC drivers are installed with Office Pro; if you need them for another PC, you can download and install Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). The current version is MDAC 2.8.

    Thanks again Hans.

I think the providor of the driver supplies an updated 32bit version.

    Sorry, I misunderstood your question.
