    Edit By.... (Front Page 2003)

I can no longer click on the 'edit by' button on the top of IE to open up front page 2003. The button seems to be grayed out. How do I make it point to Front Page.exe?
Maybe I'm in the wrong site...sorry.

Have you tried "Tools, Internet Options" and then "Programs" tab. In the "HTML Editer" drop down you should see FrontPage if you have it installed.

I use "HomeSite" and have it set as the default for "View Source". This can be done by using "TweakUI" of the MS PowerTools.

This often happens when the number of temporary files has grown too large. Tools>Options>General Tab>Temporary Internet files and Delete Files. Try this and see what happens.

Thanks John that was the problem. I've wondered about this for a long time. I also wonder how many thousand other hidden quirks will ever be discovered and used.
    Whew!
