    Net2Plug experience, anyone?

    I've only just come across this networking mechanism, which operates over the standard electricity wiring.

    Each 13-A 3-pin plug has a USB socket, which you connect to a computer. Having more than one plug/computer means you've got a network! UK cost is about

    I don't know about this particular brand, but I certainly have heard of this concept. My question is: is this network private to your home or is it more like a party line with your neighbors and everyone else on the grid?

    Party line?? Definitely not! It has super powerful 56-bit encryption, to make it proof against the neighbour's five-year-old!
