    Two Easy Questions (Publisher 2002(10.2621.2625))

Just started using Publisher 2002 this afternoon after switching from 2000. Please pardon the garden-variety nature of the following:

    1. Publisher 2000 had a setting in the Options that let you set what page number you would begin with (i.e. you could start the page numbering in a publication from 36 rather than 1). Where, oh where, has this option gone?

    2. When I installed 2002, I was very careful to do a concurrent installation so that 2000 would still be on my system. However, every shortcut to Publisher 2000 that I had has been redirected to 2002 AND I can't find the .exe for Publisher 2000. This means I can't start Publisher 2000 up and that irritates me. I suspect this means that the carefully selected "leave 2000 in place, please" option got botched and that I'm basically screwed.

Thanks for all help, especially with #1.

In Pub 2003, the option to determine a starting number for page numbering is listed in INSERT, SECTION. I suppose if you are used to Word, that makes a certain amount of sense.

    Eowyn,

Thanks - I never would have found it on my own.
