    Vincenzo,

Could you adjust the font size so that they will print on 8 1/2 x 11 paper?

Not really an Excel problem, but..... (xp)

....... I don't know where else to post, and I figure the Excel gurus here would have an answer.
Want to dress up my spreadsheets by putting them in folders. They are on legal size paper, in landscape format. I do not want to put them in a full legal size report cover (too big). I'd like to fold them and put them in a report cover. I can put them in a letter size report cover (inserting the spreadsheet either vertically or turned sideways), but it looks look funny - if the spreadsheet is vertical then the folder is too tall, and if the spreadsheet is turned sideways the folding interferes with the 3 punch hole mounting (hard to explain this). Is there another solution, or do you just live with the letter size report cover?
    Thanks

Sandy, there are a lot of columns, it is too small to read on 8 1/2 x 11. And it needs to be only one sheet wide.

Steve, I edited the original post, see if it is easier to understand now.

Other than reformatting to fit it to 8.5x11 (narrowing columns, smaller fonts, etc) if it is only a printing issue.

Sometimes turning header rows sideways or wrapping them allows the whole column to be narrower so you might need legal size to fit the width.

Also printing on legal size and using a photocopier to reduce can save the resolution making the smaller sizes easier to read in a copy rather than a smaller directly printed copy.

If you've made up your mind to use legal size paper rather than making the adjustments to fit your work to letter size paper, then: I think you've got to change your presentation materials. If presentation is important, then spend the extra dime to get legal size folders, binders, etc. Folding a document is not going to yield a professional image and manipulating the document could harm the readability.

In the end, you'll make a better impression with an easy -to-read report that is presented using the correct supplies. Don't take a lot of time looking for a way to rig it up!

OK thanks. I've called OfficeMax and they can special order the covers that will do the job.
