Percent (Excel 2002)

I have 400 employee's and I am trying to figure out the percent each month that are out each month.
In A2 I have the Month, B2 - Enter the number of people that were out for any reason, B3 - Percent of the 400 from B2.

Does
=B2/400
formatted as a percentage do what you want?

In B3:
=B2/400
Format it to percentage(format cells - percente, choose the number of decimals desired)

Hi, just a tip, press CTRL and the number '1' above Q to bring up the format cells box. I use this always
Thanks,

That's it. Don't know why but my brain is not working to day and I have been working at this and thinking it is a long complicated formual.

BTW, Thanks for the Ctrl - 1 shortcut.. It works great and save keystrokes
