    Message Placement (A2K)

    Simple answer I'm sure once you find out. I have the following routine which forwarns the user that they are about to do something cataclysmic if they are not careful prior to their performing a record deletion.

    '==============================
    Private Sub DeleteCorporationRecord_DblClick(Cancel As Integer) '
    On Error GoTo Err_DeleteCurrentRecord_Click
    Dim intResponse As Integer
    Dim DoYouMeanIt
    DoYouMeanIt = MsgBox("Are You Absolutely Sure You Want to Delete This Corporation?", vbYesNo, "This Corporation Will No Longer Exist!!")
    If DoYouMeanIt = vbYes Then
    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 8, , acMenuVer70
    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 6, , acMenuVer70
    Else
    intResponse = acDataErrContinue
    End If
    Exit_DeleteCurrentRecord_Click:
    Exit Sub
    Err_DeleteCurrentRecord_Click:
    MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Exit_DeleteCurrentRecord_Click
    End Sub
    '==============================

    What would make me a happy camper would be if:

    1. I could place the message box in a specific position on the screen

    and

    2. Change the background and font colours of the message box. Grey is way too dull to get their attention.

    Thanks in advance for any help
    Cheers,
    Andy

    For the 2 questions, you'll have to create a form to accomplish that

    Merci bien, Francois, pour votre response. However, being a really, big tad less programatically aware than you are and if it is not an imposition, could you be a little more specific. There may be others in the same coding boat as I that need help.
    Cheers,
    Andy

    In the attachment you have a sample of what I mean.
    Try to delete a record in form1.
    Adjust the frmAlert like you want and to move it, use the DoCmd.MoveSize in the on open event of the form.
