    Templates (Outlook 2003)

    In Outlook 2002, I was able to open a Blank Mail Message and enter data. I then did a file / save as. In the Save as type, I would select Outlook Template (.oft). It would save it as a template. I do the same thing in Outlook 2003 and I don't get the options to save it as a Outlook Template (.oft) file. Help....

    What is your message format (plain text, rich text, HTML) and does that make any difference? I guess it shouldn't, but...

    I have the option to safe as an oft in 2003 - whether I am using Rich Text, HTML or Plain Text as my mail format. However - if you have Word as your email editor you no longer get the option to save as a template.

    I know I see in this board comments all the time advising against word as an email editor - this is just one more example of where it messes things up.
